The development is situated on a one-acre site bordered by Broadway, Arapahoe, and 24th Street in Downtown Denver. Construction plans prepared by JFSA for the site/civil design included preliminary and final design for drainage facilities, utility services, site grading, and right of way improvements. In addition, construction administration services and inspections were performed by JFSA to ensure that construction operations were in compliance with the plans and specifications issued for this project.

JFSA provided planning, civil engineering design and permitting services for this high-profile project. The project involved the construction of the new wing of the Denver Art Museum, a cultural center parking garage, and mixed-use multifamily residential buildings. The site grading design was modeled in 3D in order to accurately project multiple site planes, so that the site followed the angular theme of the buildings. The porous landscape detention ponds are aesthetically landscaped without any drainage structures protruding above the ground, allowing sculpture gardens to be incorporated in these areas, as well as creating sustainable water quality features.

JFSA provided planning, engineering design, and permitting services for Filings 1, 7, 8 10 and 13 of Forest Cityís Stapleton Redevelopment project. This constituted close to 20% of the infrastructure design for the entire 5000-acre development. Services include; roadway design (including I-70 interchange), water and sewer design, regional stormwater conveyance and treatment facilities, site design for all big box and outlot commercial buildings on Filing 1, and all associated permitting.

JFSA furnished civil engineering, drainage, and surveying services for all phases of this project. JFSA was also responsible for the roadway design of 12 city blocks (approximately 1 mile) in the area surrounding the new stadium site. As part of this project, JFSA designed the first ever water quality wash down system, which has become the standard in new stadium design.

This project consisted of the design of a 22-story (LEED Platinum) high rise office building for Westfield Development. The project site is located along Larimer Street between 18th and 19th streets in Lower Downtown Denver. Xcel Energy has moved their major Denver operation to this location. This project incorporates a green roof and a below grade storm water quality structure to achieve a sustainable, environmentally friendly building.

JFSA served as the civil engineer for the Marriott-Residence Inn development in downtown Denver, Colorado. The project involved a multistory hotel with parking levels above and below ground, situated on approximately 1 acre at the corner of 18th and Champa Streets. JFSA provided the site/civil design, which included drainage design for rooftop detention. Documents required for securing permits and approvals were also prepared.
