JFSA provided civil engineering services to Colorado School of Mines for the addition and renovation of the Ben H. Parker Student Center. JFSA prepared a drainage analysis to determine the impacts of the proposed addition on the existing drainage system. As a result of the analysis, modifications to the existing drainage design were required. JFSA coordinated with the school and with the other project subconsultants to modify the utility design, including storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water service to the building.

The construction documents for this new K-8 school located within the Stapleton Redevelopment, completed by JFSA included:

University of Northern Colorado Football Stadium

The University of Northern Colorado Football Stadium is an 8,000 seat facility on 7.8 acres. The facility includes a parking lot, future expansion capabilities and facilities for spectators. The site is adjacent to an existing wetlands and Audubon Habitat. The plans included overlot grading, storm sewer, water lines, parking layout, and roadway design. JFSA also provided bidding services and construction observation for the proposed stadium.

Mullen High School Expansion

Mullen High School Expansion

The Mullen High School expansion project was completed in four separate phases, as four separate jobs. JFSA provided the civil engineering services for site development, grading, utility, and drainage design for all four phases. The first phase was expansion of the parking lot from 70 stalls to 400 stalls. The second phase included construction of the new gymnasium, Hutchinson Field House. The third phase consisted of construction of the fine arts building, which included design of a berm to control the floodplain. The fourth phase involved addition of the multipurpose building.

In close coordination with the UNC maintenance facility staff, JFSA provided civil engineering services for the UNC Student Recreation Center. Preliminary and final drainage studies were prepared for both existing and proposed site conditions. Several drainage alternatives for the proposed building site and associated parking areas were presented. JFSA prepared plans and profiles for sanitary sewer lines, water lines, and storm sewer relocation

Summit View Elementary School is part of the Douglas County Public School District and is located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. JFSA's services included structural design, site grading, drainage and parking lot improvements, and maintenance planning. The vision of the client was to expand the existing building, creating an additional 4,050 square feet of classroom space along with an improved entryway.
