This project consisted of the design of a 22-story (LEED Platinum) high rise office building for Westfield Development. The project site is located along Larimer Street between 18th and 19th streets in Lower Downtown Denver. Xcel Energy has moved their major Denver operation to this location. This project incorporates a green roof and a below grade storm water quality structure to achieve a sustainable, environmentally friendly building.

Services provided were site grading, design and layout for parking and warehouse loading, drainage design, and utility design.

JFSA served as the civil engineer for the Marriott-Residence Inn development in downtown Denver, Colorado. The project involved a multistory hotel with parking levels above and below ground, situated on approximately 1 acre at the corner of 18th and Champa Streets. JFSA provided the site/civil design, which included drainage design for rooftop detention. Documents required for securing permits and approvals were also prepared.

The development is a multi-story mixed-use building with above and below ground parking levels, situated on just under one-acre at the corner of 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Street in downtown Denver, Colorado. The first floor of the building is intended to be used as a banking facility with three levels of office space and potentially one level of residential above. JFSA provided the site Surveying and Civil Engineering design, which included Drainage design for underground detention and a stormwater lift station, Right-of-Way improvements along Pennsylvania Street, 17th Avenue and the adjacent alley, Public Storm Sewer improvements in 17th Avenue, Final Grading, Fire and Water services including a new Fire Hydrant and Sanitary Sewer service. JFSA also prepared Erosion Control and Stormwater Management plans as well as other documents required for securing permits and approvals.

The Merrill Lynch Denver Campus is a 37-acre multiphase project that includes buildings, parking garages, parking lots, street intersections, stormwater quality control facilities, stormwater detention facilities, water services, and sanitary sewer services. J.F. Sato and Associates was hired by Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback and Associates Architects of Atlanta, Georgia to design the surface parking facilities, stormwater collection system, stormwater quality and detention systems, building underdrains, and building utility services.

W Hotel and Condominiums at 16th and Market

JFSA served as the civil engineer for the conceptual development of the W Hotel in lower downtown Denver, Colorado. The project intended the removal of an existing building and the construction of a multi-level hotel on less than one acre at the corner of 16th Street and Market Street. An existing historical neighboring building must be preserved and the adjacent ROW improved to meet ADA requirements. JFSA provided the survey and civil/site design for the project, which included ROW improvements to the 16th Street Mall and Market Street, underground detention, site grading, alley improvements, fire and water services, and sanitary sewer services.
